The “Mayor of Kingstown” star posted on the Instastories portion of his verified Instagram account over the weekend and shared a video in which he was doing physical therapy on an anti-gravity treadmill. Renner can be heard saying that the machine allows him to only feel “40% of my weight” while walking. According to the Running Physio site, such treadmills “feature a bubble that inflates with air, then surrounds the user’s lower body. CNN  —  As spring breakers take to the beaches of North Carolina’s Outer Banks, they might be joined by an aquatic friend spotted just off the coast: a great white shark named Breton. Breton is one of dozens of sharks being tracked by OCEARCH, a nonprofit marine research group which provides open-source data about shark migration. On Saturday, Breton’s tracker “pinged” near the Pamlico Sound on North Carolina’s Outer Banks. The adult male shark is around 13 feet long and weighs about 1,437 pounds, OCEARCH reported. OCEARCH first tagged Breton near Nova Scotia in September 2020 with an electronic tracker, which pings whenever he breaks the water’s surface. Like other great whites in the Atlantic, he seems to currently be making his yearly migration from the Florida Keys northward to Canada. CNN  —  A one-eyed cat named Crash is the first-ever cat to win the Cadbury Bunny contest, making him the brand’s official “spokesbunny” for the year. The chocolate company announced Crash’s win in a news release Tuesday. The lucky winner is an 8-year-old from Boise, Idaho, according to the release. Crash was injured in a “devastating” car accident, according to the release. The accident left him “severely injured and left with one eye.” While healing at a local shelter, Crash’s “quirky, outgoing personality” earned him the love of shelter staff, the release said. As the winner of the Cadbury Bunny tryouts, Crash will star in the 2023 Cadbury “Clucking Bunny” commercial. He’ll also receive a prize of $5,000 for himself, as well as $5,000 “to the shelter of his choice,” according to the release. The walkouts have been called by two major transport unions in Europe’s biggest economy. Ver.di, one of the unions, has demanded a 10.5% pay raise for its members, citing rising energy and food costs. More than 400,000 transport workers are taking part in the industrial action, according to Frank Werneke, the head of Ver.di. Flights at eight major airports, including those in Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg, have been affected by the strikes. The German Airports Association has estimated that around 380,000 travelers will not be able to take off on Monday.
